An Ordinary Execution

Relations between common Russians and Frenchmen have been defined by a fascination with and a curiosity to know more about each other’s countries and cultures. It’s probably this fascination that led French writer Marc Dugain to write ‘Une Execution Ordinaire’ (An Ordinary Execution), a book that looks at the nature of political power in Moscow from Stalin’s time to the present day.
